I had been looking for a boot to replace my discontinued Sorel rain boot.. I didn’t need a snow boot, just a medium weight, lightly insulated boot that’s good for walking dogs in wet weather; easy to wash off. These are perfect so far. I especially LOVE the side zipper and heel tab. Usually wear 6 to 6.5 and decided to try 6 first as these often run big and the 6’s were showing low inventory. Ultimately ended up with the 7 for more toe room. I’m ordering fleece insoles.

The duck part of the shoe is way wider and bulkier than how the picture makes it seem. Also it is big overall. I got a size 6, which is my usual size, but it felt way to loose on my toes area. It is warm though.

I bought these boots size 8, when I usually wear size 7.5, to give room for my thick wool socks. They are a perfect fit.

I purchased a 10 intentionally to give myself room for big socks – but that’s not going to be possible (or an issue, they are WARM!) so normal thin socks will be just fine. I like the zipper – helps get them on and off.

Loved these boots! I should have sized up a 1/2 size to fit my socks, but decided to go for my usual size hoping I wouldn’t have to do the big foot look this winter. I am sending them back and not exchanging because, unfortunately, a friend took me shopping for boots the day before these arrived because the temps were set to plummet here in Minneapolis and I’m new to town. Really like the boots I got (Keen Revel iv High Polar). I was told I need the great, grippy, rugged soles that the Keens have for snow and ice.
The simple and not too grippy looking sole of the Kamiks is only reason I’m not exchanging for a larger size. Instead they’re going back even though they are much cuter than my rugged Keens.

I would not buy this shoe again. The zippers are a disaster. They keep opening and are difficult to open and close. The shoes are comfortable and warm but the defective zippers need to be replaced otherwise the shoe is unwearable.
