I really like this boot. I haven’t worn it outside yet, just around the house. It is warm, light and comfortable. Size 9 fit my 8.5 feet fine. The liner is thick and removable so I plan to wear mid weight socks.

When I first tried these on, I felt a lump under the toes in one of the boots. I was able to correct this by pulling the lining completely out, putting the lining on my foot, and stepping my foot into the boot. I still felt a little wrinkle or something, but it went away after I wore the books for a while.
I have wide feet, so I ordered a size up. This works well, as long as the laces are tight enough. I have no regrets–these are made in the USA and are very warm.

I normally wear a size 9 in a winter boot. I read the reviews and even though many suggested to order a bigger size… I didn’t. I agree with other reviewers that the toe box is narrow. It squished my foot. But the heel of the boot allowed my foot to slide up and down. I was really hoping these boots were going to work! I loved the temperature rating and the removable liner. Unfortunately, I will be returning them and ordering something different.

They are super comfortable! Keep feet really warm! I will be ordering new ones again.

I ordered a size larger because my Kamik rain boots ran small. They are a little loose in the heel but not enough to return for a smaller size. Wore them all day today and they felt fine. Very warm and cozy!

Nice boot BUT …. The inner sock / insulated bootie squeeze my toes. The boot itself is roomie, with out the bootie but the booties is what keeps your feet warm.
to bad …Back they go.
Thanks ZAPPOS for letting me try them/

I wear 8.5, and ordered a size 9 based on other reviews. They were too snug—and despite messing with the lacing, I couldn’t get the ankle & shaft area comfortable in one of the boots. They were relatively lightweight, but seemed very warm: the insulating bootie insert was very cool. Sorry they didn’t fit me; had to return.

These we’re well made, but they ran very small. I normally wear a size 7 shoe and had to order a 9 for it to feel comfortable. What I didn’t like about these is that they are extremely bulky. I felt like I was walking on the moon, so they had to go back.

Worst kamik I’ve ever owned. When I put the boot on the liner always bunches down and it’s impossible to get my foot in without 10 minutes of struggling. Not sure why they discontinued the previous model I had. Waste of money which is unfortunate because I’ve been a loyal kamik user (as have my kids) for years. 🙁

As many have mentioned I wear a size 7 in everything but Kamiks. I ordered these in an 8 and they fit well. My problem is with the design, these looked closest to my last pair of Kamiks but they are not right. The last D ring is too low and the tongue is too long so the tongue is flopping around loose and looks bad I think. They hit me in a funny place so I can’t pull my jeans over the top like I could with my last pair so I can’t hide the floppy tongue. There is also something wrong with the way they lace so I could not get them tight enough at the ankle and my heel kept slipping around. I loved my last pair of Kamiks but this year I can’t seem to find a pair that fits properly.

I usually wear and 8.5 and have a wide foot. I bought size 9 and they fit me perfectly. These are very warm and comfortable boots.

Nice boot however it fit smaller than a normal size 6 boot.

Great fit. Very comfortable. Kept my feet warm in the Colorado snow.

I love these boots. Comfortable, warm and easy to get on and off. Definitely needed to size up. The front of the boot is a bit narrow compared to the heel.

Loved loved these boots but I am an 8, ordered a 9, and they were still too small. Really too bad as they are great.

It is IMPOSSIBLE to slide feet into these boots. Whatever change they made to the liner sucks. I LOVED my last pair but the liner has since changed and it is so hard to cram my feet in due to the fabric that the liner is made from now.

I love these boots and am so happy with them. I live in Reno and am a wedding officiant who does a lot of weddings in the snow at Lake Tahoe. These keep my feet warm and dry. I also have very narrow feet (size 7AAA) so was concerned that they wouldn’t fit. With the inner lining, they fit great. I am able to hike up mountains of snow and walk in them as well as drive in them so I don’t have to change shoes from car to site. I highly recommend them.

I ordered two different pairs of boots. The Kamik Shellback was close to a whole size too small in length. Width felt fine. Looks and feels like a very sturdy and warm boot. Have no experience outside of standing in my kitchen in them though. Will go with the other pair because they fit. If they aren’t warm enough, I’m coming back to a larger size of the Kamik Shellback.

The day after I received my new Kamiks, we had a very wet slushy snowfall of about 3 inches and an outside temp of 30 degrees. I walked around my yard and 1/2 acre pasture checking on the animals for about 15 minutes and was super surprised that my feet weren’t even cold. All my previous boots froze my feet or leaked and soaked them. If you are looking for a boot to walk around in actual snow, then these are it! I am very pleased with my purchase and highly recommend them.

Super comfy!

Great boot. Not the usual boring old black snow boot. The way in which this boot is designed/cut, the liner just works better. This was the second boot bought, the first pair of a different more basic design was too tight on the upper calf because the liner was way too thick. Big legs here. This design allows for a liner of the same quality and fits comfortably around the upper part of calf.
And they are really cute!

Both my teen daughter and I needed new snow boots. We both wear an 8.5-9 narrow, although my foot is a bit narrower than hers. I ordered these for her. When she described the length as ok, but overall too tight in a odd way, I tried them on. I think they fit me better than any snow boot I’ve ever had, including a previous pair of Kamiks that lasted for well over 10 years. These actually fit me in width, and the arch is perfect! (The arch is what seemed to not work for her.) I don’t recall ever having a snow boot that this well fit in width, because usually snow boots don’t come in narrows. These are very warm, and really comfortable on me. So, overall, if you have the correct shape narrow foot, they are wonderful! Note that I think they run a full size or more small in length (ie, we got a size 10, which fits my 8.5-9 foot.)

I’ve been trying to find a solid boot that fit well and had insulation/liners around the feet. I wear a 9.5 and usually wear a 10 when half sizes aren’t available. 10 fit me perfect. The traction is great – I wore these on park trails, slippery dog parks and -10 degrees so far. They did their job.

The boots are nice comfortable and very warm, but for the five hours at work my toes started to hurt a little. It might be because I’m use to wearing soft shoes and these boots serves it’s purpose, I absolutely love them but I just might need to exchange them for something more cushioning around my toes. ??

The fit was not what I expected my toes felt like I hammered them down but little did I know that I had to order a size more than what I normally use but with some little fixes and insoles I fixed the problem. So I gave I a five star since it was my fault for not reading reviews.
