I purchased these and I loved them but I ultimately had to return them because I wouldn’t be able to wear thicker socks if I got my true size. I would recommend going up a half size.

These were cuter in person than I was expecting, and the fit was pretty good. They’re a little stiff, but that seems to be practically a necessity with waterproof boots, and they have some flexibility. The dealbreaker for me was how hard the heel counter (the part at the back of the foot, toward the bottom) is–I think they’re constructed that way to be sturdy, but I had some other boots like that and they were uncomfortable enough that I finally donated them.

I bought these last year, and they have been great for walking to work on ice and snow. I love that they are waterproof, very well made, and will last a long time — worth the price!! You often have to purchase a 1/2 size larger to wear thicker socks, but they are true to size with regular socks.

Zappos recommended a 9.5 which I ordered, definitely too big. I thought these were really cute and felt they would probably work in my size (currently sold out). Will reorder if/when it becomes available!

UPDATE: my size came in! Unfortunately Zappos sent wrong color, and the shoe seemed to have some sort of inner defect that created an uncomfortable wrinkle. I’m a 9, but they seemed big—great if you want thick socks, but I’m trying a 8.5 next.

I’m a 9/9.5 (including in other Kamik products). I tried a 9.5 and a 9, swimming in both. STILL swimming in a 8.5, although I suspect thick socks would help. Honestly not sure it’s even different from a 9…do they just mark the same size in two sizes? On all that I’ve tried (cognac color) there’s a weird uncomfortable ridge along the outer toes on the right foot. I really wanted it to be a one-off manufacturer defect bc otherwise these shoes are cute, comfortable, supportive, and versatile, but after several pairs with it, thinking it’s a defect but not a one-off. BUMMED. Color is not at all as shown, to the point I thought Zappos sent the wrong color. They didn’t…the “cognac” is more of a caramel or camel.

For some reason the left foot seems a bit more smug than the right! a larger size wouldn’t work as I ordered the next size up and it feels too big.
