Stacey –
I am an adult woman with short, wide feet. I ordered these in 6W, which are a size bigger than I need for length. (Size 6 youth is about the same as size 8 Women, and I am more like a 7 in women’s.) Even in the bigger size, these are not wide enough for the ball of my foot or the toes. I am afraid if I go any longer I will trip a lot, so they are being returned.

Kamik winter boots are our go to boot every winter. They fit true to size, they are easy to get on and off and keep my boys feet nice and warm and dry, especially when they are out playing in the snow for hours! They are superior quality so they last all winter and can get passed down to the younger siblings while still looking new. Highly recommend!!!

Great boots, but my son doesn’t have wide feet and he still said he felt like his toes were being crushed.

Ordered wide (in a couple of different sizes) for my son. WAY too narrow. The toe box is drastically curved inside – no way this is a standard wide.

These are great boots BUT they definitely run small. Ordered my son a 7, he wears 6.5 tennis shoes. He could barely get his feet in, so we returned and got Men’s size 8. Kamik is a good brand and I’m sure these are great boots but I’d order a size or size and a half up.

Realized at the last minute that last years boots didn’t fit anymore and Zappos came through in just a day with great boots and a great price. Fit and size were great! My daughter likes that she can slip them on but also tighten them up with a cord. Fits well with snow pants.

Just right

Ordered up a size and still too small. Inner lining is separate to the boot and my kid has trouble with it.

The insulation in this is separate to the boot, horrible design.

These boots are ridiculously narrow for a supposedly “wide” boot.
I had trouble getting these on both of my boys. The oldest (6 yrs) typically wears New-Balance 12-XW or 12-W. The other (4 yrs) wears a New-Balance 11-XW. Both kids had trouble getting these boots on their feet (the 4-yr-old’s “shoving harder”, just resulted in a stuck foot). The boot has a removable liner, but the liner itself is also narrow. I removed the liner from a boot and placed the bottom of the liner against their foot (the width of the liner was about 1/4″ smaller than their foot, but the length was about 1-1/4″ too long). The Bogs kids un-lined rain-boot fits them (6 yr-old = size 12, 4-yr-old = size 11) with no issues. The Kamik-Kids Waterbug-Wide boots look well made, but their width is a total joke.

We had these boots when my son was younger, but he was really bothered the liner seam this time around. Quality and look was great. Maybe a heavier sock would help, but he prefers an everyday sock.
