Best winter boot ever! Good for all the winter weather conditions, snow, snow melt, mud and rain. Where we live we have long winters with lots of snow and sun. This boots are great: – The rubbery shell keeps my daughter’s feet dry even when is so sunny that the snow starts to melt (after too much water around the sole other boots do get wet inside). – For the occasional rain this boots keep the water out, no need for rain boots! – They keep little feet warm even in the coldest days. – Within a season of use the liner packs up a little, giving more room inside for next year, we have got two seasons out of them. – The draw string works great, snow pants inside then tighten the boots and the kids can play in the snow for hours without getting snow inside. The outsole grip lets my daughter play hard in all kind of conditions, including sledding, climbing trees, hiking, splashing, etc. My daughter is 8 years old, this is the third pair of this model that she owns, and when she outgrows them, I’ll get her a new pair. Zappos deliver them earlier than expected, thank you!

Perfect boot, even for winter my daughter used those boots all winter long and now it’s May and still using it to go play in the mud. I will get a bigger size for next year for sure.

My 4-year old’s feet were freezing in these after an hour outside sledding. It was about 20 degrees F. We play outside in 10-20 degree weather for hours at a time regularly in the mountains all winter. This is her first time in Kamik’s, and her first time ever complaining about cold feet. I felt her feet to verify — they were bright red and frozen. We bought her a warmer pair of boots in another brand and are returning these. Surprised since I thought Kamik’s had a good reputation, but she froze in these.

Love these winter boots for kids. Our kiddos have worn Snobuster boots for years now. Just bought these as my daughter outgrew her last pair. Love that the liners pull out so they can actually DRY! So many kids’ winter boots get wet inside and are impossible to get dry, not these! The boots tuck nicely under their snow pants and keep them warm. Love these for fall time hikes and snowshoeing, too. Never have to worry about leaks. You can also buy replacement liners for these if they turn into hand-me-downs.

We spend a lot of time outside in the winter at high altitude – ski trips, hut trips, playing in the snow in the mountains of Colorado. Even in 15-20 Fahrenheit, my daughter’s feet were frozen in these boots.
Unfortunately, we missed the return window (my fault), but after a ski trip and a sledding trip where her feet froze after less than an hour outside, we’ll be getting her a different brand.
If you live in a cold climate and really need your kids’ feet to stay warm, these are NOT for you. I’d only consider using these maybe for a cold rain (40-50 F or above).
