Catherine –
not nearly wide enough! I actually took out the insert to look at it and it’s unbelieveably narrow and my kid immediately said they were too tight. so disappointing!
Amie –
These boots are great! I buy them every year. They’re durable, warm and keep feet dry. My kiddo has pretty wide feet, so boots can be a challenge. These fit the best out of any wide width we’ve tried.
Stacey –
I am an adult woman with short, wide feet. Size 5 Wide were correct length (same as size 7 women’s), but not even close to being wide enough for the ball of my foot or the toes.
Mommy Q –
The kids love them! I buy them every year!

Warm and cozy for little feet, although a bit hard to put on for chubby toddlers feet. Otherwise, easily slips off. However, top wears downs quickly due to velcro.
Ginger –
I bought these for my grandson and he says they feel great. He thinks they look cool, too!

I bought these for my son. He has wide feet so finding comfortable footwear for him can be challenging. The fit was great and the width was perfect for him. He wore the boots right out of the box and kept them on the entire day. That is definitely a good sign! I bought them one size up so that he could get more use out of them.
Mark –
My Son loves his boots, they keep his feet warm and dry, even in mild weather he wears them, they are a big hit.

Could not get foot into boot because of his high arch. My 5-year-old has a very round, very (very) wide foot. I had high hopes for this boot after reading reviews, but I simply could not get his foot into the base of the shoe (which was a full size larger than his regular size).
Oh well.

I love Kamik – they have great quality products. For this specific purchase for whatever reason these are a size too small. The boot is large enough, however the insert that keeps the feet warm do not fit at all. It almost appears as if this was a manufacturing error with the boot sock as you should not have to get a bigger boot just to get the sock to fit properly.
Tatyana –
Absolutely love these. Third pair of Kamik winter boots for my son. My fav feature: removable warm insert and quick drying. We didn’t pay attention once or twice and got snow inside. After removing the insert, boots were dry very quickly. And my kiddo back outside. I’m also a big fan of the flexible sole for my son’s feet.

Waldorf Parent here. ALL the winter boots with the stupid insulated inserts are USELESS. I have tried MANY. This is the Worst. Because its insert is Stiff along with other stated probs. My son wears size 1 and cant even put his foot in in size 1 small and narrow and heavy. Ordered size 2 size is good but are BULKY and Heavy, could even walk with such Bulky shoes on. Obviously WHY anyone should wear a full size up just to give room for an insert why dont use THE RIGHT Material to make the boot ITSELF warm just like Bogs do?

The boots look like they are made of good quality and look like they have quite a bit of traction I’m returning them because my son has wide feet and said that these did not feel like they were sized wide. He said his “pinky toe was squished over on top of the other toes” when he tried them on.

Alas far to narrow for a wide boot

My son loves them. He has wide feet and these shoes fit him well. You should know: They are pretty bulky and when walking the synthetic fabric of the left shoe rubs against the one on the right. I hope, he will get used to it and I will get used to the sound it makes. There is a nice removable booty inside – so it is easy to check the right size and fit. Great quality!
Kate –
These are great, well made, and really good at holding in the heat on cold days. Five year old loves them.

the fit was true to size my daughter is 8 and size 3.4/4 in Big Kids. The material was warm and comfortable. The only issue was the material inside the boot on the curve of the foot seemed to dig into the curve of her foot making it uncomfortable to wear. I’d imagine walking around in the boot with it pushing in like that would eventually cause blisters. She refused to wear them due to some sensory issues with clothing and shoes/boots. Overall it’s a sturdy good looking boot, just wasn’t the right fit for us.

The height of the boot is awesome for keeping out snow, wasn’t sure if that was going to be uncomfortable, but no complaints yet!

Runs way too small! These were at least a full size too small, if not more. I bought them for my son who doesn’t even measure a 6 in length according to their size chart. He has wide feet and prefers his shoes a bit loose so I sized up to 7 W hoping to get through the whole winter. They were too small for him. I tried them myself as I know I wear a womens 9 B (child 7) in Kamik and I could barely squish my foot in they were so small. They didn’t feel particularly wide to me either but they were so tight it was honestly hard to tell. It’s a shame as so few brands carry wide for kids. He ended up with a 7 B in Sorel that fit much better

I ordered these because every hand-me-down pair of winter boots I have gotten from this brand has been great. I bought a new pair of boots from another brand for my kid this year for the first time and they fell apart by the end of December – cannot stress enough that those boots were a different brand. To replace those boots I went right to Kamik boots on Amazon, I did not even consider others. I asked my kid to pick a pair and Zappos got them to me in 1 day. The boots fit great, feel great, and have done the job of keeping my kid’s feet dry and warm during a melty and sloppy Minnesota January. The temperature is dropping and he is still feeling cozy and keeping upright on the now frozen slop.

Wrong boots inside the box- disappointing. Now they are out of stock of what I actually ordered.
Lauren –
These boots are terrible! I bought a pair for my daughter and a pair for my son and they just came in from the first snowfall this season and their feet are soaked! And it’s not from snow getting in the top. The fabric material absorbs moisture like crazy.
I had to take the liner out and place both the boot and the liner on heaters overnight so they will be ready for school in the morning. I feel so bad about this purchase.

Great boots and have loved this brand for years but these are NOT WIDE. Bought them for my nephew with wide feet and we pulled the insert out to see if that would help and the insert was more narrow than a normal foot.
