Not functionally waterproof! I’ve been buying Kamik boots for at least 7 winters, and I’m disappointed with this pair. The rubber bottom is waterproof, but not the nylon upper. That means every time my son plays in the snow, (and I mean every. single. time.) the inside of his boots get wet where the rubber and nylon meet. I have to throw the liners in the dryer and then wiggle them back into the boots. We own another pair of Kamiks that say “waterproof” on the boots, and have not had issues with those. Be aware that these boots are not really waterproof and not practical for real winter weather.

SOne wore once. Complained of difficult to remove and heavy. Looked as expected.

We ordered multiple pairs in different sizes and found that they ran very small in foot size and large around the legs.

A perennial favorite. Kamik kids boots are indestructible, keep feet warm and dry and are easy for little kids to get on and off by themselves without falling off in the snow.

Good quality and my grandson said they are warm and comfortable.

Too loose and not comfy at all. Very heavy.

My son loves these boots. Easy on and off. No complaints about cold or wet feet.

I bought it for my 7 year old son. I got him one size bigger to give room for thicker socks when he plays in the snow. He said it was tight. But I doubt it. If i would buy the next size bigger, I’m pretty sure it will be too big for him. And he’ll walk like a little penguin. ?
I love the feel of it. It feels and looks like it’s made of great quality material. Plus, it’s made in the USA. He hasn’t worn it yet.

Seem like they are made to last, which is not true of a lot of kids boots these days. I think the only improvement could be a little more of a cushiony feel on the inside, but that’s getting pretty picky. Plus the inner lining is washable, so that’s probably why it is on the thinner side.

Neither the smaller or larger boot felt comfortable across the top of the toddler’s foot. He said it was too tight.

Fit my son perfectly!

These boots were perfect. The sizes worked well. They were a little pricy for kids boots but they are made very well. They are easy to put on and get off. And we have no trouble with water seeping through.

These boots are great – they are keeping my son’s (3yr old) feet dry and warm at his outdoor school in MN.

I purchased these boots last year for my grandson and loved them so much I didn’t think twice about buying them again this year. They fit true to size, are easy to put on and keep his feet warm and dry on a cold winter day.

fits true to size

This boot’s liner was very narrow. Since the rubber part of the boot was roomy, I took the liner out to verify fit for a three-year-old, and I couldn’t even get his little foot even part way inside, even though he doesn’t have a particularly wide foot.

I took out the liner so that I could easily check the length and width for my grandson, and found that the liner was unusually narrow. He wears a standard shoe width, but we couldn’t get his foot into the liner. We ended up purchasing the Sorel Snow Commander and are much happier with the fit and ease of putting those on and taking off.
