I bought these boots for my son. I ordered the wrong size. I called the company and they immediately sent a return label. I received the new boots and he absolutely loves them. Their return policy is excellent and their staff are unbelievably friendly and helpful.

The temperature rating on these boots is WAY off. I would say there more like 10F boots, very disappointing. A good fall boot, don’t expect anything more. I would rate these boots as follows: Construction: 8/10 Traction: 7/10 Warmth: 5/10 Flexibility: 10/10 Weight: 10/10!

Simple, waterproof, warm, good looking, sensible fit at a good price. These boots were a great buy for me. I only gave a 4 for comfort because all of my other shoes are Birkenstock Footprints. NOTHING else on the market is that comfortable.

After 1 year, and about 40 uses, the boots self destructed. Specifically the rubber toe became separated from the surrounding leather and within minutes became torn. The boots did not cost much and I got what I paid for.

These…weren’t the best boots. I only wore them during super snowy days, which in Chicago the past couple of years hasn’t been too often (so, less than 40-50 days that I wore them, and I only wore them outdoors – I took them off once I got inside). They started cracking after the first year I got them, and when I tried to contact Kamik, I couldn’t find too much help. Plus, their ‘warranty’ only lasts a year – as I had only worn them for a few days the first year, I was out of luck. The cracks are super bad, basically making the boots completely ineffective in keeping the cold and snow out. Maybe other boots are better, but these were really crap.

I purchased these boots after being disappointed by what has become of Sorel, and after trying a few other brands. I’ve now used them through several snow storms and an extended cold spell. I can’t speak to how well they will hold up over time, but so far I am very impressed and happy. The materials seem very sturdy, the leather is heavyweight and good quality, yet they are not very heavy. I have had no problems with warmth, even in some extreme cold. The traction is very good in snow, packed snow, and ice. The fit is good — I usually prefer a wide, but these are comfortable. If the boot came in wide, that would be nice, but it’s very liveable and I think someone with a standard foot will be very comfortable. Given the price, I have no complaints and I am satisfied with the purchase.

The leather tongue on this boot is non-bendable and actually caused bruises and sores on my husband’s shins. While they kept his feet dry, they offered no comfort. He was very constrained to walk in them. He compared the way he had to walk in them similar to walking in a ski boot. Terrible terrible terrible design. Sending them back immediately!

Good solid boots. Exactly the replacement I was looking for. Lining does ball up and fall out with frequent wear.

These shoes were extremely heavy and began cutting into my ankle. I tried to give them a chance, but to much pain! They also looked huge on my feet. But they were very warm!

The main issue with these boots is how -heavy- they are. They are waterproof and warm but not really usable for day to day wear due to how big and clompy they are. I bought them for my husband and sadly they just sit in the closet except for when he needs to shovel (which meant they actually got a fair amount of use this winter in Boston, ha). Overall I feel you can find lighter weight boots that serve this purpose.

My 15 year old son likes these. I thought they were a bit heavy. They have good treads and sturdy construction. They are warm, too. My son has narrow feet but these seem to fit fine.

I ordered these boots in my size but my feet were cramped. When I switched to a non-boot sock they fit perfectly. If you wear thick socks you should probably go up a half-size. Otherwise the performance and look of this boot are excellent and will probably order this make again when the time comes.

I canceled my order because Amazon sells these boots for $75 and free shipping

My son found these to be on the stiff side.

This is a nice all around snow boot. I had to buy for my 10 yo son and he would have liked something a bit more flexible, but they are good for hiking and shoveling the snow. Waterproof and warm. Nice solid treads. He doesn’t love the style, but covered by his snow pants.

I bought these to replace a pair of original Canadian Sorel’s that were over 20 years old. They would have still been just fine if not for some mold picked up by lack of use and sitting in a Southern garage after my relocation from the Rocky Mountain west. The Kamik boots claim to be made in Canada, resembled the old school Sorels, and were relatively inexpensive in their class. The fit is excellent- true to size if perhaps a quarter size large to accommodate a winter sock. Like anything made today, you can see corners have been cut relative to 20+ years ago. The general design remains the same but the stitching is noticeably thinner. Still tripped stitched, which is great. Just not the same quality of materials. Does that make for a bad product? Not necessarily. It’s just sad to see. Overall I’m impressed by these boots at their price point. Will have to see how they hold up to actual use this winter when I’m back out west and report back.

Extremely warm and comfortable to wear (especially on super cold and snowy days) but not really suited for walking any distance.

Great fit with quality materials! They’re a little overkill for Texas winters, but they’ll be great on holiday in the mountains. Overall very pleased with the comfort.
